Where do the race proceeds go?
The Andy Caress Melanoma Foundation is dedicated to wiping melanoma off the face of the planet through education, early detection, and the support to find a cure. All proceeds from this race will be used to directly support this mission. Last year, as a result of the generosity and dedication of our supporters, we were able to donate $35,000 to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center that will be used for ground-breaking melanoma research.
Prizes will be awarded to the top 5 walkers (male and female combined), and the top three male AND top three female runners overall. Medals will be awarded to the top two male AND female runners from each of the following divisions:
Is this a Boston Qualifier?
Will there be walkers too?
