Dear Friends of ACMF,

We want to thank you for your ongoing support of ACMF and share some exciting news!

We are thrilled to announce that as of January 1, 2019, we have joined forces with Melanoma Know More. This union has resulted in a single nonprofit organization in Greater Cincinnati focused on melanoma awareness, outreach, and research. Our combined resources, supporters and volunteers make a stronger and more effective organization and move us toward a common goal.

Looking back on the past eight years, we are incredibly proud of the accomplishments you’ve helped us make in Andy’s name toward prevention, awareness, education and support of research to find a cure for melanoma. We have distributed hundreds of thousands of sunscreen packets at the Western & Southern Open, welcomed thousands of participants at our Block the Sun Runs, and donated more than $150,000 to MD Anderson Cancer Center and The University of Cincinnati. These accomplishments have only been possible because of you and your support. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you!

We are grateful for this opportunity to grow Andy’s mission, and exponentially increase our impact in the fight against melanoma.

Our only ask of you right now is that you please stay involved! Our goal is to continue our signature Sunscreen Squad program and the Block the Sun Run under the new name. The union also opens the door for exciting new volunteer opportunities for you in our community. Melanoma Know More volunteers are needed for monthly skin cancer screening clinics in partnership with local hospitals; to assist with community awareness, education and sunscreen distribution; and at events such as the Flying Pig Marathon and “Music for Melanoma”.
